The Church on Fire

Sis.Lanie Magada
CPMA Director

Now I see the church on fire
Marching across the land with one desire
Called by one God, bound in one spirit
We are his chosen royal tribe

I am one with you and you are to me
We share all the trials and sufferings
And together we stand for our God up above

Together we rise a united Church
We take up this land for God alone
With one body, one spirit, one hope and one Lord
We’re His chosen tribe, his mighty warriors of the Lord

GO! GO! GO! CHURCH OF GOD

We will praise him one voice and love

Laborers Together....

Ptra. Lilia Miranda
National WMB Director

I Corinthians 3:9 For we are laborers together with God: Ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

II Corinthians 6:1 “We then as workers together with Him beseech you also that ye received not the grace of God in vain”

As born again Christian men and women, we are part of the beautiful Church of God, the body of Christ therefore as saints and believers, we are to be laborers working together with Him in harmony to build up the kingdom of God.  The Church of God is as soul saving station where the saints unite their efforts to win other honest hearts to the Lord and to the glorious truth.  God has a specific work for each loyal member to perform.  Every worker is important and vitally needed to accomplish the great task of spreading the gospel to this lustful world.

Earnest prayer, bible reading, and faithful church attendance are absolutely needed.  Having a real burden and willingness to contribute your time, energy, and talent to the work of the Lord is necessary.  Faithfulness to God and His work conveys an important message to those who are watching our lives.  All are not preachers and not everyone can be evangelist, singers, or teachers, yet all can be workers and helpers together, filling their places in the body.  It is not just being workers and doing what we think is good , but it is being harmonious workers together for the glory of God.  Working together demonstrates unity.  Laboring together creates a close relationship with Christ and with one another.  Unity in heart and spirit is vitally essential especially in a world where division and strife are so prevalent.

Satan through his deceitfulness is striving to bring this division into the ranks of The Church of God.  We the people of God must reject devil’s motives to divide and separate us. From Christ and another. There’s power in unity and our enemy  is aware of this; therefore we must stay focused on the directives that the Lord was laid out for us to follow.  Jesus reminds us about the need of being one with the Father.  He prayed for this oneness and unity to be among this people in Kohn 17:11 when he said “Holy Father, keep in thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that may be one as we are”.  Without the love of God ruling and reigning in our hearts , laboring together is impossible.  Real love is long-suffering and kind, and it demonstrates humility. Whenever one’s love becomes cool toward God, it will not be long until love becomes strained in the heart toward one another.  Laboring together can no longer be a joy, a benefit and a pleasure.  Laboring together for the cause of the gospel may require us to forsake our ideas, wants, and desires.  One may strongly feel that things should be done a certain way in order to attain the best results.  Being laborers together calls for submission to God and to one another.  Paul admonished to the Ephesians brethren, “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. (Ephesians 5:21) The apostle Peter also said in 1 Peter 5:5 “Yea all of you be subject one to another and be clothed with humility. For God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble”.

YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD

Ptr. Carl Lawrence Tizon, National VLB Director

Corinthians 3:16-23:

Since time immemorial, God has purposed that He should have a HOUSE of his own. (Ephesians 1:4)  He tried some ways to where He can freely work out His will.  He tried it to the nation of Israel but it disappointed Him.  He tried to have physical building in the presence of Solomon’s temple.  But still, it fell short of his expectations, that even in the time of Jesus, people make it a place for their merchandise.  (Acts 7:48;17:24-27

Most of people today are proud of having their own house.  It is one of the basic needs of people-SHELTER. They feel comfortable because this could be one of great achievement.

Today God is still searching for a HOUSE where He can put up and lay down his wondrous will

and purposes.  And God wanted us to be a part of that house.  He is searching and looking us if we can passed the qualifications of being His temple.  Are we fit at His temple?

Lets take a look at His blueprint:

A. You as His temple

I Corinthians 3: 16-17;19-20

B. The temple is for Him alone

2 Corinthians 6:14-18

Ephesians 2:19-22

Hebrews 3:6

C. A house of Praise

If we are not living as His temple, whose temple are we?

Whose house are we?  And if that house is not for God, what’s the use of that house? Who is the God in that house.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God? (1 Cor. 3:16-17)

That’s what the bible says.  Though man has many excuses in serving God, thinking in his own to please God but what all God wanted is that He should be the one to rule in that house for it is his temple.

Many are not fit today to be his house, because people try rule over it. (Read Luke 9:57-62)  God wants a house of His own.  Make your life His House.
